About EOT Cranes & Hoists
Sigma Crane Systems EOT (Electric Overhead Traveling) crane, alternatively known as a bridge crane, is a pivotal component in the realm of overhead cranes. This type of crane is powered by electricity and relies on either an operator or a pendant station for the precise control of its functions. The EOT crane configuration comprises a parallel runway intricately linked to a mobile traveling bridge, with the hoist affixed to this moving bridge. This setup is particularly well-suited for critical industrial applications, providing an efficient means of lifting and transporting heavy loads.
The EOT crane is distinguished by three primary working movements. Firstly, the crane enables the controlled ascent and descent of the crane hook for lifting purposes. Secondly, it facilitates lateral movement via the trolley, allowing for strategic positioning of the load.

Overhauling
A thorough technical assessment by Cranedge specialists ensures accurate identification of the measures to be taken to improve the service life of the equipment. Crane overhauling involves complete refurbishment or replacement of electrical components, drives and other critical components. Cranedge further certifies your rejuvenated cranes for use.

Crane Health Checkup
A Cranedge health checkup report, along with recommendations from our technical experts, will empower you with the right information about the condition of your crane. This enables you to reach an informed decision and select the most appropriate plan of action to enhance the safety and longevity of your cranes. These checkups cover every crane component for its integrity and compliance to the industry and safety standards.

Modifications & Relocation
In the capital goods industry, it is a common practice to write off assets once a particular project is over. Engineering interventions can enhance the life of the equipment and make it suitable for reuse in another project. Cranedge carries out such crane modification and relocation projects that save our customers additional capex, time and efforts in procuring new equipment.

Modernisation
Cranedge offers quick and cost-effective ways to keep your cranes up to date. Be it retrofitting VFD drives or radio remote controls, ask Cranedge how to best simplify modernisation of existing cranes with the latest technology.

Upgradation
As with all machinery, your cranes may require parts replaced or wear & tear items changed. Cranedge helps you identify, and install the best quality spare parts for crane upgradation.

Erection & Commissioning
Our large team of engineers and technicians possesses experience to install cranes in difficult terrains and climatic conditions. With such experience, they are able to overcome site challenges to ensure time-bound completion.

Annual Maintenance Contract
In addition to regular health checks, your cranes require a structured preventive maintenance plan. It will ensure that they provide trouble-free operation while being in a healthy condition. Annual Maintenance Contracts from Cranedge have been developed based on our experience with over 6500 crane installations across the globe in almost every conceivable industry.

Rope Condition Monitoring
Selection of an appropriate crane wire rope and maintenance of its health is of prime importance for the long service performance of your crane. A crane wire rope usually weakens with overuse and can pose a threat of an accident. It can break while handling loads or may result in uneven lifting. This makes periodic inspections a part of a routine check-up.

Rail Monitoring
For safe and smooth operation of your cranes, perfect levels, track straightness and parallelism of the tracks are extremely important. Tracks ensure longer life and safe operations of cranes and their components. Cranedge offers a specialised and technologically advanced crane rail monitoring system – RAMON for smooth crane installations.

Repair Service
Cranedge is well equipped to carry out all types of electrical, mechanical or structural repairs that may be required on any make of cranes. Our workshop can handle any sort of job which requires large space and consumes time such as structural repairs or fabrication, carried out by a team of crane specialists. Technical backing by a crane manufacturer gives us insight into the best practices to bring back your cranes to OEM (or better) specifications.

Operator Training
Proper training of the crane operator who is the ultimate user of the crane, goes a long way in ensuring its safe and reliable operations. Our specially designed crane operator training programmes enable operators to make optimal use of your cranes, ensure safe operations and perform periodic audio & visual checks to identify areas that require attention. Beyond training your end users, Cranedge can help you with performance planning, development of crane KPIs and performance reporting.

Remote Crane Monitoring
Remote Crane Monitoring is helpful in remote diagnostics of crane health and offers remote support for maintenance. Various sensors and condition monitoring devices fitted on the crane collect and transmit data in real time. Such data can be easily accessed by the customer and the Cranedge team through a portal to make an informed decision about maintenance. Promptly attending to such maintenance issues helps in improving productivity and workplace safety.
